Hi, my name is Matthias Lebo and I'm an award-winning underwater cinematographer based in Zurich, Switzerland. Originally from Croatia I spent most of my twenties traveling the world – primarily Australia, South-East Asia and Europe – working as a Scuba Diving Instructor, intensifying my love and appreciation for the ocean. I strongly believe that fish are friends, not food and my dream is a world where fish can stay where they belong, in the water, and don’t end up on our plates.

I love every single minute I can spend underwater and believe the only way we can protect our oceans for future generations is to showcase their beauty through underwater imagery whenever we can.

So I made it my mission to pass on my knowledge about underwater videography to as many people as possible, in the hope, that we together can show the world how amazingly beautiful our lakes, rivers and oceans are and why it is important to protect them.
